NOAA SBIR Program Successes

NOAA’s 2015 SBIR Solicitation is scheduled to be released mid-October 2014

NOAA's SBIR Program is seeking highly innovative products and services with excellent commercial potential.  All SBIR proposals must directly benefit the NOAA mission, as well as be responsive to the greater market demands in order to be successful.  NOAA is scheduled to release it's FY15 Solicitation mid-October 2014. 


  • To understand and predict changes in climate, weather, oceans and coasts.

  • To conserve and manage coastal and marine ecosystems and resources.

NEW FOR 2015

  • Two additional broad subtopics will be released based on the NOAA Five Year Research and Development Plan.  These broad subtopics will give ample leeway for companies to develop highly innovative proposals that fall within these broad areas of NOAA's mission.
