NOAAinnovatorsSeries

The NOAA Central Library offers a regular series of lunchtime presentations under the heading of NOAA Brown Bag Seminars.  The Brown Bag program provides an educational forum (hosting over 800 presentations since 1994) for the presentation of ideas, provide updates on research projects and share news in support of NOAA's mission to understand and predict changes in climate, weather, oceans and coasts; to share that knowledge and information with others; and to conserve and manage coastal and marine ecosystems and resources. In 2019, after conversations between the Central Library and Technology Partnerships Office, we determined a series of Brown Bags dedicated to NOAA innovators would be a good addition to the Seminars. And thus, the NOAA Innovators' Series of Brownbags was born.

The NOAA Innovators Series of Brown Bag Seminars is dedicated to featuring the inventions of NOAA’s federal and cooperative institute employees.  The Innovator presentations are scheduled on a monthly basis and are be conducted via video conference.  Each session is recorded and available on the Central Library website. Please join us at a future session to learn more about how NOAA is making the most of its research and development!
