Office of Research, Transition, and Application (ORTA) at 2026 AMS Annual Meeting

Staff from the NOAA Office of Research, Transition, and Application (ORTA) will be at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the American Meteorological Society in Houston, TX.

Dr. Fiona Horsfall, Katie Geddes, and Alexander Bukvich will be giving presentations and co-chairing sessions.

ORTA’s engagement at AMS will advance our mission of supporting innovative research and development to achieve NOAA’s mission and strengthen the US economy. Our talks will highlight ORTA’s work to advance public-private partnerships, provide grants to small businesses, and support and track the transition of NOAA research and development (R&D) into products and services that benefit the American public.
