Assessing the benefits of aquacultured oysters on shoreline resources

The National Ocean Service (NOS) National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS), and Maryland Department for Natural Resources will collaborate and share data in order to assess the potential protective benefits of aquacultured oysters on shoreline resources which will contribute to a larger NOAA project within the NCCOS Biogeography Branch focused on the assessment of extreme weather risks in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
