Conduct research activities to develop new user control features and other software enhancements of the Science on a Sphere (SoS) and Science on a Sphere Explorer (SoSx) display system installations.

Improve computer modeling of the oceans, atmosphere, and climates. The goal is to use the improved models to enhance knowledge of oceanographic, meteorological, biological, and climatological processes, and to provide updated information to the public.

Utilize computer modeling to advance understanding of coastal ecosystems and enhance precipitation and water level predictions. The goal of the partnership is to support community response to coastal risks to mitigate effects of climate change.
